experience
"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." -William Shakespeare
I am well experienced in a variety of fields, and still learning in a great many others.
Overview
I have over a decade of experience in live audio/visual production for churches, schools, concerts, and more. Having designed a variety of AV systems for several organizations, I am well experienced when it comes to project management and comfortable in faced-paced and detail-heavy enviroments. With three years of liberal-arts classes, I am experienced writer when it comes to presentations, project proposals, academic and literary research, professional reports, and more.
I have hands-on experience repairing industrial eletrical equipment including switchgear, breakers, MCC buckets, PLCs, and more. I love working with my hands, and have experience working as a small aircraft mechanic, and regularly perform repairs on my own (beloved) 1995 Toyota Tacoma.
I am extremely thorough and analytical in approaching problems and enjoy tackling projects with lots of details. I have a good understanding of electronic circuits and am skilled at quickly troubleshooting and developing creative solutions for complex systems. I am quick to learn and eager to continue developing my electrical engineering skill through internships in the field. I have leadership experience as a team lead for audio engineering within several organizations and as a Relational Development intern for Covenant College.
In my free time, I am an avid electronics hobbyist and have experience designing, prototyping, soldering, and debugging analog audio circuits, which I use to record my own music. I am also a long-time user of the Arduino platform and am currently teaching myself EAGLE so I can craft custom PCBs for my hobby projects. I have played in multiple studio and live bands as a bassist, keyboardist, guitarist, and drummer, and produce my own music as well.
